Dan is a retired Army Sergeant First Class whom Dale came to learn about over the last few months after having stumbled upon the impactful work that he is doing with his non-profit, 22Zero.
In this episode, Dan and Dale explore his story of how, following his combat deployment to Afghanistan where he suffered the physical and emotional injuries of multiple IED explosions, Dan found himself suicidal as a means to end his mental torture of Post-Traumatic Stress.
Dan tells us how he survived the consideration to end his life, to go on a mission to cure the injury of PTS for himself.
Now along with his team at 22Zero, Dan has saved thousands of veterans, first-responders, and civilians suffering in silence with trauma. His mission is to heal our heroes.
This is one of the more impactful stories you're going to hear here on Lions Guide…
