Jennifer Cheng Lo is the Co-Founder & Chair of NewChic Capital (NewChicCapital.com), her single Family Office. Jennifer is also the Founder of JennClub (JennClub.com) a content and commerce platform empowering creators, investors, entrepreneurs, leaders, and changemakers. Jennifer is also Founding Partner of Ace Investment Management (Aceinvestmentmgmt.com), a women-led hedge fund. She is also Founder & Director, AKA CGG (Chief Glam Girl) of Glam-it! (Glamit.com) a beauty, fashion, lifestyle technology brand; She is Founding Advisor of Glam-it! PPE (GlamitPPE.com) a Social Enterprise founded by her 3 children. She is also the Chair of Women With Purpose (part of Society of Family Offices).

Jennifer also serves as the Director of Business Development of The Otto Hotel (TheOtto.Hk) Born and raised in the US, Jennifer had a career as an actress and a model in New York City. Prior to University, Jennifer attended the prestigious Boston University Academy and Brookline High School while achieving high honors in the New England Conservatory Pre-College program for Piano Performance. Jennifer holds a BA in International Relations from Brown University and an MBA from Hong Kong University of Science & Technology.

A serial entrepreneur, she held management positions at companies including Director of Business Development APAC for Rackspace (NYSE: RAX), Vice President of uBuyiBuy (NASDAQ: GRPN) and Vice President of BEECRAZY (ASX: EN88), ENSOGO, and advisory including luxury jewelry brand Plukka (ASX: PKA).

With startup exits under her belt, Jennifer continues to invest in, advise, and mentor startups as well as emerging investors and fund managers via NewChic Capital with recent exits including Sensei Biotherapeutics (NASDAQ: SNSE) and Olive-X (NSX: OLX).

An in-demand speaker and published writer and columnist, Jennifer has been featured and interviewed on BBC, CNBC, Tatler, TimeOut Magazine, South China Morning Post, Apple Daily, Ming Pao, Campaign, CEO Capital Magazine, Jing Daily, and more.

She has given 3 TEDx talks, spoken about Women Empowerment at JP Morgan, as well as been featured in talks “Building Your Own Family Office and Legacy” “Women Investing & Financial Literary” with Sogal Foundation and Singapore Stock Exchange (SGX). Jennifer has also lectured at Hong Kong University of Science Technology, Hong Kong University, City University, and other institutions of higher learning.

As an international award-winning classically trained pianist and former child prodigy with a piano performance diploma from New England Conservatory of Music, Jennifer was accepted to NEC by the head of the Piano Department Jean Stackhouse at the age of 9, then by Anthony di Bonaventura at the age of 13 into his Graduate Piano Performance Studio at Boston University School of Fine Arts while he was the head of BU SFA. Jennifer holds a diploma from New England Conservatory (Pre-college, Piano Performance) as well as a BA from Brown University (where she triple majored in International Relations, Theatre/Acting, Piano Performance). Jennifer has won numerous international and prestigious competitions including First Prize Winner Manchester International Young Artists’ Competition, First Prize Winner of MTNA National Competition, First Prize Winner Washington DC International Young Artists’ Competition, First Prize Winner NEC Concerto Competition, First Prize Winner MMTA Competition, Polish Consulate Consular Prize Winner in the Chopin Avenue International Piano Competition (2021), and more. Jennifer has performed in US, Europe, Asia including at Kennedy Center, Symphony Hall, Jordan Hall, Boston University School of Fine Arts, Brown University Concert Hall, Marktoberdorf International Music Festival, HK Center For Performing Arts, HK City Hall, Temple Beth El, NewPort Mansions, and more. Jennifer also holds select musical performances for charities including HER Fund, Teen’s Key, Habitat for Humanity, National Pediatric Cancer Foundation, Women Helping Women Hong Kong, and others.
